Introduction
Moodle is the main online hub for a course allowing students to access course information, materials, resources and briefs.  Moodle offers a variety of features to communicate and engage with students and supports online submission of assessed work.

What is the aim of the Workshop?
This workshop provides an introduction to Moodle and explores how typical tasks are performed.

By the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of what Moodle offers and how to create an effective course site.

At the end of the workshop you will be able to:
•    Access and navigate around the Moodle VLE
•    Create announcements and news
•    Understand the design elements that make an effective Moodle site for engaging students
•    Add different types of content and tools to the site
•    Use Moodle's communication tools
•    Create and manage groups

Who should attend?

This workshop is for anyone who would like to learn the basic skills for using Moodle and build confidence in using the features of the environment.
