The conference will take place at the London College of Communication campus on the 25th of April. The theme of this year’s conference is to bring audiences and publishers closer and create collaboration through innovation within the world of publishing. We’ll be discussing new techniques of audience engagement, interaction with readers across different media platforms, and the transformation of readers from passive audience to active participants in the publishing industry. You can also expect to receive advice from the front-lines of publishing to implement into your own publishing practice. We are super excited to announce that after the keynote speech, we will be doing a hack hour! This event is to bring together professionals from different industries who then engage in a collaborative problem-solving exercise. It is a very stimulating experience and it involves a lot of brainstorming and collaboration is essential. Following the hack hour, you will have some time to relax while we are having a panel discussion. The discussion will raise questions and cover topics around Publishing as a social practice. Afterwards, we will have a networking event with free drinks which will give you the opportunity to engage with the panelists and other attendees. We are really excited to organize this conference for you and we hope you will learn something new about the industry. Whether you are a professional or a newbie it doesn't matter, this event is for everybody.
