Connect To aims to bridge the gap between education and industry by providing a space where students can collaborate on projects with other students, UAL Staff and industry professionals. Connect To is a Creative Network facilitated and funded by Careers & Employability at University of the Arts London.
Connect To meet once a month to have their say on who they'd like to work with and to plan for upcoming student-centered projects. These projects could be events, live briefs, paid projects, collaborative ventures - anything! The aim is to give you the opportunity to develop and learn new skills, a space to try things out in a supported way with a 'learn by doing' approach and of course, widen your peer and professional networks! As such, every month we invite an industry guest speaker to come in and speak at a Connect To meeting, where you can hear about what they do and how they do it, giving you the chance to ask questions and get top tips from those in the know! You'll also hear about additional opportunities and projects here first, so make sure you're at the next Connect To meeting!
We usually meet on the first thursday of the month at London College of Communication at 5PM - 7.30PM.
The dates we'll be meeting for this academic year are as follows:
FREE to attend but please book tickets in advance via Eventbrite
