Join this online session for advice on how to commercialise your product and make money and how to reach your customers.

Have you got a product you want to sell but you’re not sure where to start? This series will guide you through what you need to consider to get ready to sell.

In this session we will look at who your customers are, how to reach them and promote what you do. We will also look at how to develop and commercialise your product to make money. The session will cover:

  • Identifying who your customer is and how to reach them.
  • Making a marketing plan.
  • Developing a brand identity by setting out your USP and how to talk about it.
  • How to develop a product range, testing them and getting feedback.
  • Researching the market and your options.
  • Getting it made - how to manage scaling and manufacturing.

This session will be led by Sinead Koehler, Founder and Director of Crafty Fox Market. With a background in event management and an experienced market trader, Sinead started Crafty Fox Market in 2010 and has since worked with hundreds of designer makers.

She is often asked to speak about the creative retail industry and invited to sitting on judging panels. Sinead is also an associate lecturer at Central St Martins.
