5. The Challenge:

https://www.ualv3.com/

What do we mean by “luxury” is changing?

What was once associated with ideas of snobbish elites and unattainable aloofness is now becoming more democratic and accessible.

Inclusiveness, creativity and technology are now core to what people want from luxury.

Traditional ‘upmarket’ shops have struggled to offer that.

But they’re catching up fast.

So how does a retailer bring this new definition of luxury to everyone?

That’s where you come in.

.......................................................................................................

6. The Brief:

https://www.ualv3.com/

WHAT DOES NEW LUXURY MEAN TO YOU?

Answer this in the format of a social post that will be pushed through FLANNELS’ own Instagram.

It could be a film, a piece of writing, a photoshoot, a product idea…Anything that’s personal to you, and interprets the idea of ‘New Luxury’ in a way that aligns with FLANNELS’ vision of the term.

We’re looking for quality of idea, and quality of execution. If the idea is good enough, and crafted brilliantly, it’ll make it into FLANNELS' marketing plan.

Sounds scary. But you’ll have help. venturethree people will work closely with you to bring your ideas to life. You’ll also get dedicated support from the Creative Shift team at UAL. And the chance to pitch your work to the FLANNELS’ team in person.

.......................................................................................................

7. Requirements

  • Presentations must be no more than 15 minutes. Feel free to bring your idea to life in the strongest possible way, using whatever media and channel you want.
  • Remember: your idea should be powerful and compelling enough to grab people’s attention, and get them excited about the way that an old-fashioned idea of retail is being shaken up.

.......................................................................................................

8. Benefits

  • A chance to go behind the scenes and meet key decision makers at FLANNELS.
  • Paid internship opportunities at venturethree.
  • Each team will have total access to venturethree’s world class creatives and interaction with key people at FLANNELS.
  • Together they will mentor and support you throughout the process.
