Finding work as an international graduate with Student Circus


This workshop is specially aimed at international students who are looking for work placements or internships during their time at UAL. Dhruv and Tripti from Student Circus will be delivering the session. Student circus is a niche job search platform that enables International Students secure deserving jobs in the UK. Having themselves graduated from the UK as International Students, they will be able to share their experience of finding a job in the UK.

What will you learn?

Dhruv and Tripti will share: 

• Their journey from International students to Entrepreneurs in the UK

• What is the current job environment (economy, sector specific for LCC)

• Timelines to follow for visas

• Tier-2 employer screening (how to find the right employers)

• Options post Tier-4 expiry (apart from Tier 2, there are many options)

• Tips & Tricks (making sure students don't trip over simple mistakes, employer feedback & easy ways to be noticed)

• Q&A at the end

The session is delivered by Student Circus and organised by the Careers and Employability team and is open to ALL students and graduates from ALL UAL colleges.
