London Festival of Architecture (LFA) is a month-long celebration of architecture and city-making, taking place every June across London. The programme features over 400 events that explore the theme of ‘Act’ and invite the audience to reflect on how we should act in the face of the climate emergency, social injustice, and the needs of a changing society, as well as how we can act for ourselves, each other, and our cities.

Destinations for LFA’s 2022 programme include the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP), where in September of 2023, London College of Fashion, UAL will be moving into our new building on East Bank, a new development for London prioritising culture, education, and innovation. Read more about LCF’s move on Canvas

This year, QEOP celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the London 2012 Olympic Games. LFA 2022 will celebrate the area’s creative past, present, and future, and showcase different local stories championing creativity and urban innovation at all scales.

From ‘Art in the Park – a walking tour of the Park’s public artworks art and social history' to ‘Wild Ways’ and the ‘Power of Plants’ exploring the park’s biodiverse landscapes, the LFA free events have something for all ages, celebrating the area’s creative past, present, and future including the legacy of the Olympic Games. Take your friends and family and explore what the park has to offer.
