Join Programme Director Jon Teckman to explore how the new Executive MBA for the Screen Industries will help develop the future leaders needed to meet the challenges and harness the opportunities facing the screen sector.

The session will include a group discussion about the current issues facing the screen industries, followed by an overview of the course and Q&A.


5.30-6.00pm: Welcome and drinks reception
6.00-7.00pm: Group discussion: What are the challenges facing the screen industries?
7.00-8.00pm: Overview of the Executive MBA for the Screen Industries, including a demonstration of the online learning platform and Q&A

From the University of the Arts London and Oscar-winning film producer Lord David Puttnam, this Executive MBA is specifically designed for future leaders of the global screen industries from the worlds of film, TV, sound, post-production, animation, games, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and beyond.

About Jon Teckman

Jon is a former Chief Executive of the British Film Institute (BFI) and has spent much of the past 25 years working in and around the creative industries. Prior to London College of Communication, Jon was a Senior Teaching Fellow at Surrey Business School, where he designed and delivered executive education programmes. Before joining Surrey, he worked at Ashridge Business School where he helped to design and deliver the country’s first ever blended Executive MBA specifically for the creative industries.
