This session is Hybrid and will be hosted from (TBC) and streamed online, please book either an In-Person or Online ticket depending on how you choose to attend.

Interested in creating or editing your CV live in session with an Employability Educator? Struggling to articulate your past, present and future in your CV? Want help making your skills, experience and knowledge stand out?

Join Careers and Employability as we explore how you can write an effective CV. We will focus on how to set yourself apart when applying for your first creative role.

In this session, you will:

- create or edit your CV live in session while following exercises and using tools,

- learn how to write an effective CV profile or bio for early creative roles. This includes applying to studios, galleries, and museums as an artist, maker, designer, photographer’s assistant and more,

- explore and identify your relevant and transferable skills and possible ways to showcase them

- understand how to articulate your experiences, projects and achievements,

- gain insight into where to find opportunities and leave with tangible updates for your CV to support you with your career goals.

This session is perfect for students and graduates who want to create or edit their CV in a group workshop setting. We will focus on CVs for paid opportunities, including job applications for students and graduates who want to work as a freelancer or contractor.
