Changing Faces: Overcoming Challenges of Progression to Higher Education in the Creative Arts
Wednesday 18 September 2019
London College of Communication
Elephant & Castle

This Conference is free.

Who should attend?
This conference is recommended for teachers/lecturers delivering creative curriculums in schools and further education institutions.

Why should I attend?
Changing Faces aims to support teachers/lecturers with expert advice and creative learning tools. This conference is part of a wider programme of activities being delivered for the London Design Festival by the Design School at the London College of Communication. This conference has been developed by London College of Communication and UAL’s UK Student Recruitment Team in response to feedback from teachers, lecturers and advisers about the challenges they face supporting progression.

The conference provides a useful opportunity for teachers from our wide network of feeder schools and colleges to find out more about the support offered to students at UAL and to engage with colleagues from schools across the UK.

Attendees are invited to join in a series of workshops covering a range of topics including course developments in creative technology and supporting the development of portfolios and personal statements. A full programme will be released closer to the date with more information.

Delegates are also invited to join us for a drinks reception to be held within the exhibition area at LCC for the London Design Festival.
