Course description

On this course you will explore and gain a better understanding of what textiles is all about. We will start by showing you how designers gather research to create ideas. You will be taught a number of textile making skills and explore different approaches to mark making and drawing. Through, fun and practical making exercises and one to one support, you will draw upon your research and drawing skills to experiment with different textile methods and develop your ideas further.

You will experience a very different approach to making work and will be encouraged to take risks and experiment with your ideas, discovering new ways of thinking and learning, giving you an insight into what it's like to study at university.
