Textile Workshop Designing on Fabric Short Course

Course description

This textile course is suitable for students who want to translate their design ideas from paper onto fabric using the heat press. You will discover a wide variety of specialist techniques, work with transfer printing and surface treatments. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, this course will give you the tools to explore and refine your own concepts.

Despite the emergence of digital approaches to textiles, designing on fabric remains an alternative and highly effective way of developing new ideas. This course is an unmissable opportunity for you to improve and diversify your practice.

By the end of the course you will have built a body of work on fabrics that you can add or develop further for your portfolio.
