Photography and Identity Webinar

Course description

This webinar led by photographic artist Sara Shamsavari will explore the history of the photographic portrait and encourage you to reflect critically on the work of the artists exploring and interrogating identity from Alfred Steiglitz to Nan Goldin and Zanele Muholi. You will look at the work of contemporary image-makers who question conventions of identity and raise awareness around social, cultural and political concerns, identity rights and body politics through their work.
