Description


This course will show participants how to make a multi colour Reduction Lino Print from their own designs. This technique allows for a print to be produced in a number of colours, using just one piece of Lino. The course, designed for beginners and those with some previous experience alike, will instruct in basic black and white Lino printing before moving on to demonstrate and encourage participants to create their own multi-colour Lino Print from a single block.

Entry requirements

Students need to show an interest in pursuing fine art practice and and interest in painting is an advantage. However, the course is available to all and no previous experience is necessary.

Please note: This course is for students aged 18 and older


Tutor Description


David Price studied at Edinburgh School of Art, the University of Newcastle and The Royal College of Art. He is a practicing artist who in 2009 was selected for New Contemporaries. David has a PGCE teaching certificate and over 15 years of experience teaching drawing and fine art.
