Mixed Media Printmaking

Central Saint Martins
Taught by
Seán Myers

This skills-based and demonstration-led course takes place in a state-of-the-art printmaking studio.  Students will explore themes and compositional ideas using both colour and black and white printed collage methods. These outcomes are then translated into handmade printmaking techniques. Students will be supported and guided through various techniques, including the use of intaglio and relief print presses. The processes learned are then used to print onto different flat surfaces, including found source imagery, specialist printmaking papers, fabrics, latex and light coloured wood.
