Course description
Our online art and design classes give students the opportunity to develop their creativity at home. Through live classes they will explore various art and design projects that bring together new creative skills, techniques and concepts.
All our live online classes are led by expertly qualified teachers, who students can interact with and get personal feedback on their work.
Classes include practical fun activities. Only basic art materials will be necessary for these courses, such as brushes, paints, felt tips, crayons, glue, scissors, paper and tape. In addition we will be recycling scrap materials and making use of household items.
Each class is different, they feature a range of artistic disciplines and always have new and exciting activities from our range of expert teachers. Before each class starts you will receive instructions about the required materials and how to join.
Who should attend
Anyone aged 7 to 10 who is interested in art and design.

All our online short courses include:
- Live online lessons
- Clear, explanations and easy to understand lessons
- Live demonstrations, you can see exactly how things should be done
- Live interaction with your classmates from around the world, our students come from far and wide
- Ask questions of your tutor, using your microphone and camera, or if you're not feeling brave, in the chat box
- Receive feedback on your work
How to book:

- If you are an adult booking a place for a child or teenager, you will need two email addresses one for your booking confirmation email and one for the student *
- Select the option to book for someone else
- Add the bookers details under Your details
- And the students details under Delegate 1

Online courses are closed to all new bookings 48 hours prior to the course starting.

Materials
In order to fully participate in the practical exercises please have the following materials/equipment for the first class -

- A4 white paper
- Assorted A4 coloured paper
- Magazines / old envelopes
- Scissors
- Pritt stick glue
- A selection of acrylics or paint
- Pencils
- Coloured pencils/felt tips/oil pastels
- Sharpie or black pen
- A4 white paper/ card
- Magazines / newspapers to collage with
- Paintbrushes
- paperclips
- Envelopes of different sizes (and stamps if possible)
- Any favourite books: picture books/ comics/ chapter books with pictures in
Online short course materials
- An up-to-date web browser (we recommend Chrome)
- Microphone and headphones (a headset with a microphone function is recommended. The built-in microphone in your device would also be fine)
- Webcam
