Course description

Course description

Join Art and Design for 13 to 16 years old and work with a practicing artist to explore processes of making artwork and developing ideas in a similar working method to those used at art college.

We will look at modern and contemporary artists’ work, with a focus on learning about artistic practice and developing ideas. You will experiment directly with materials - outside of a sketchbook. Please make sure you have a camera or phone camera, ready to document this.

You will create work in different sizes and formats and experiment with a range of media. You will have the opportunity to develop your own project and present and celebrate your work within the group..
