Fashion Photoshoot Blended Short Course
This half online, half face-to-face course will allow students to get practical and hands-on art direction and fashion shoot production planning skills working with top industry creative professionals.
On this course you will develop a unified team fashion trend led concept, which explores the role of 21st century image creation across multimedia, exploring new ideas and innovation, and that reflects the zeitgeist of the moment.
To be set at Granary square London utilising the magnificent cross heritage building and the vibrant local area of Kings Cross with its modern architecture and historic canal system on its door step - the perfect and diverse back drop for a summer fashion shoot.
The students will have had 4 days one day a week over 4 weeks online to plan their fashion trend led shoot working with the tutor. The students will curate their wardrobe styling prior to flying out to London for the shoot having agreed online the fashion trend and magazine as a team.
Once in London they can acclimatise for a few days before the 3 onsite days with the tutor and their creative team including a top photographer, a hair and a make-up artist and 1 or 2 female models.
Once onsite at King's Cross the student teams will plan their 1 shot for the integrated 6-8 shot fashion Narrative Editorial doing a location recce in Kings Cross. The students will art direct the shoot in teams of max 2.
Who should take this course?
This course is for individuals who have previously completed an art direction, creative direction or fashion styling course or have experience in Retail and Fashion styling.
The outcome will be work produced by a high quality fashion shoot that students can use for their portfolio.
