Design A T-Shirt Weekend
On this experimental weekend course you will be introduced to principles of T-shirt design. The course will help you design a T-shirt through researching, developing fabric samples of bonded material and then attaching them to a T-shirt to help visualise your finished design.
At the beginning of the course, some time will be spent gathering research in a local gallery under the tutor's guidance to help you experiment with mark-making and embellishment, translating abstract images into all-over repeats and placements. You will then be encouraged to push the boundaries of the basic T-shirt through fabric manipulation and paying attention to detailing and finishes.
