Designing the right store for the right product.
This workshop is designed for anyone thinking of opening a store, to help you design the right store for the right product. The concepts discussed apply across fashion, homewares, shoe stores, restaurants or coffee shops. The information gained will give you a clear vision of your future store. The workshop will begin by looking at what style of store you wish to create by analysing customer behaviour and researching what contributes to creating the perfect store environment.
The participants will leave with a vision of the future store they wish to create, with visuals and mood boards to help with the design process.
This course includes:
- How to create the shopping experience
- Developing a design strategy for your store
- Visual Merchandising techniques, prop design, and mannequins
- Store interior, fixtures & fittings, looking at colour and texture
- Creating mood boards to express your design
- Creating a 3D image of your store.
In order to fully participate, students should come with an idea of their business in mind.
Please note: This course is for students aged 18 and older.
