Managing Overseas Production
This in depth and very informative day will help you to understand how to manage clothing production overseas, for those who deal with suppliers internationally. The course discusses your role within the supply chain, and the best practice within the buying function including managing the critical path more effectively. Through group exercises and discussions you will be able to review current processes and time management, and understand how decisions are impacting the production process. You will also look at sourcing suppliers and the factors that influence that choice, product development from sketch to finished product, and production requirements to make sure deadlines are met. By the end of the course you will be able to discuss new ways of working to take back to your business, which should prevent problems and costly errors.
