Led by social artist R.M. Sánchez-Camus, this online short course will explore examples of art practices that respond to the current local and global health crises and how art can mitigate against the social impact of Covid 19, lockdown, mental health and death anxiety.

There will be a practical component guiding you to devise ideas for creative projects that can help build wellbeing. This will help you understand how the arts can help build resiliency from the effects of social crisis on the individual and collective psyche.

Who should attend this online short course?

This online short course is aimed at anyone interested in the cross over between art making, mental health, social and community art, activist art, and health care. It is also an excellent fit for individuals who are new to the creative sector or who aspire to work in it, and want to learn more about how to bring their creative skills to respond to the current times we are living in.

To take part in this online session you will need:
