Portfolio Preparation For Foundation - Graphic Design
Are you applying for a Foundation course? Do you want to improve your graphics portfolio? Do you need advice from a tutor who understands the application process? In this course you will get the opportunity to sample a taste of the standards required for foundation applications whilst focusing on the areas that interest you the most.
Over the ten weeks you will engage with various projects, learn both technical and conceptual skills, and get expert tuition and guidance.
- A variety of projects covering drawing, illustration and advertising
- Portfolio building and presentation
- A series of homework and design briefs.
Who should take this course?
Anyone with an interest in graphic design and planning to apply for a foundation course, regardless of previous experience.
The course is for students aged 18 years and over. Students aged 16 and 17 years old can find a similar course by visiting our courses for teenagers section of the website.
Entry requirements: None, but you need be at least 18 years old.
William is an illustrator and designer with a particular interest in the use of drawing as a recording and documenting method. He has a varied practise that includes working with print, spatial intervention and three-dimensional objects. He is a graduate of the Royal College of Art and an Associate Lecturer at the Foundation course at Central Saint Martins.
