Adobe InDesign: Fundamentals of Layout Design
Whether you are new to layout design or looking to expand your portfolio with distinct designs, this course will help you get your creative ideas on the page.During this engaging and unique course you will develop an understanding of the structural foundations of layout design through case studies, demonstrations and projects while learning the fundamentals of Adobe InDesign.
Working with supplied copy and images (or personal images), you can expect to develop an understanding of the principles of balance, negative space, and focal points in a composition so as to create compelling layouts. You will learn to use different grid structures to organize page content and place fundamental elements in a page layout.
Course projects include magazine spreads, book designs and advertising designs.
