You will learn how to read scripts for stage and screen and how to write script reports. By the end of the course you will have valuable experience in script-report writing to support an application to a script analysis position. It will also help you approve your own writing.

Script reports are written by a third party to help a producer or potential investor quickly see the merits or faults in a script. It generally includes a synopsis of the plot, and an analysis of the plot, themes and characters.

This course will teach the current industry standard, as well as, the most up to date tools of the trade and will encourage teamwork and collaboration.

By the end of this course you will be qualified to work as a script reporter.
