Student Stories - Residential Summer School for 13 to 16 year olds
We had an incredible time this summer with students on our Residential Summer School courses for 13 to 16 year olds.
Throughout the 2 week course, students learned new skills, worked individually and in groups on challenging projects and pushed the boundaries of their creativity in a supportive, encouraging and comfort zone stretching environment.

Meet Gabrielle and Eloise
I really liked making the actual projects, so all the research part was fun. I really liked doing the concrete things, like the dress and the background, sorting out mood boards and finding ideas to inspire ourselves and the fact that everyone is giving ideas. It's really nice to work in a team.
Meet Frida and Lola
I think people should take this course because it really pushes you to get out of your comfort zone.
We work with a lot of different medias which I would not have worked with otherwise...it turned out to be a lot of fun and it has broadened the range of artwork that I can do for my portfolio.
Meet students from Art and Design Residential Summer School for 13 to 16 Year Olds
Just go to this course because it's amazing and you will learn things which you maybe didn't know about before.
Our residential short courses for teenagers have been created for students that are interested in challenging what they know, experimenting and learning new skills.
The focus is on research, portfolio preparation and gaining an understanding of what studying art and design at university could be like.
