About

Launched in 2020, The William Callaway Bursary and Scholarship Programme will support students in need of financial support on the BA Textile Design and Graduate Diploma Textile Design courses at Chelsea College of Arts, enabling students to focus upon their studies and embrace the wider creative opportunities available to them as Chelsea students.

The William Callaway Scholarship and Bursary Programme was made possible by the generous support of the late Professor William Callaway, Head of School (1989-1992) at Chelsea College of Arts (formerly Chelsea College of Art and Design), through a gift in his Will.

The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit, it will provide a contribution towards course tuition fees.

Applications are welcome from those who are in financial hardship and those who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential.
