M·A·C Cosmetics Equal Futures Scholarship

The M·A·C Cosmetics Equal Futures Scholarship £28,000 (£9,333 per year) is available to 1 Home student from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background currently enrolled on the first year of the BA Fashion Design course at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London.

Eligibility

To be eligible for The M·A·C Cosmetics Equal Futures Scholarship students must be:

  • Considered a Home student for tuition fees purposes AND
  • From a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background AND
  • Currently enrolled on the first year of the full-time BA Fashion Design course at Central Saint Martins, UAL starting in October 2020.

That’s why we partnered with UAL to create the M·A·C Cosmetics Equal Futures Scholarship, which is designed to support excellent students on the BA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins. This scholarship will support an ethnic minority student of outstanding academic potential.

The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It will provide a contribution of £9,333 per annum towards living expenses and course costs for the duration of the course except the placement year.

Applications are encouraged from students who are unable to finance themselves through their studies but are gifted with an abundance of talent and dare to challenge the status quo.

Applicants must have a raw, original talent complimented by a strong drive to succeed in the fashion industry.

Applications are particularly welcome from students from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who are in financial hardship and will benefit from undergraduate studies to realise their full potential.

Receiving payment

The scholarship will provide a contribution of £9,333 per annum towards living expenses and course costs for the duration of the course except the placement year.

Living expenses and course costs payments will be paid in termly instalments to the award recipient
