Ashley Family Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility
To be eligible for The Ashley Family Foundation Scholarship students must be:
- Considered a Home student for tuition fees purposes and
- Accepted on the full-time MA Fine Art course at Chelsea College of Arts, UAL starting in September 2021
About
The Ashley Family Foundation was established in 1986 by Sir Bernard Ashley (1926-2009) and his wife Laura Ashley (1925-1985), following the success of the Laura Ashley brand.
The Foundation has previously supported MA Textile Design students and now supports MA Fine Art students at Chelsea College of Arts, with the aim of enabling students to focus upon their studies and embrace the wider creative opportunities.
The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit and will be a contribution towards course tuition fees.
Applications are welcome from those who are in financial hardship and those who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential.

Receiving payment
The scholarship will provide a contribution towards your tuition fees.
Tuition fees will be paid directly from the award into the University’s Tuition Fees account.
