The VII Academy Scholarships
The VII Academy Scholarships are available to 2 international students accepted on the MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography (Part Time/ Online Mode) at London College of Communication; each scholarship is worth £9,995 for each year of the course.
To be eligible for The VII Academy Scholarships students must be:
- Accepted on MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography (Part Time/ Online Mode) at London College of Communication, UAL, commencing in September 2019.
- An International Student from a non G20 country. For clarity G20 countries are one of the following: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, The United Kingdom and the United States.
The VII Academy is an independent charitable education non-profit organization registered and located in Bosnia, France and Thailand. Its function is to provide tuition free education and training to men and women from communities underrepresented in media and journalism in order to democratize and rebalance non-fiction storytelling.
The Scholarships will be assessed on the basis of firstly, applicants ordinarily resident in a non G20 Country, secondly, financial need, thirdly, academic merit and fourthly, on the applicant's potential as a future educator and leader in their home countries / regions.
Applications are welcome from those who are in financial hardship and those who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential.

The scholarship will provide a contribution towards your tuition fees.
Tuition fees will be paid directly from the award into the University’s Tuition Fees account.
