Suling Mead Award for Entrepreneurship

Suling Mead has renewed her commitment to the School of Design and Technology’s mission of providing first-class education that embraces traditional skills, contemporary craft, and technology in the fields of design and enterprise. This award will recognise excellence in the area of entrepreneurship and be open to a postgraduate student from London College of Fashion. Applicants will be asked to submit a start-up business plan for the judges’ consideration and the winner will receive funds to support their future enterprise.

Eligibility

To be eligible for The Suling Mead Award for Entrepreneurship, applicants must be:

Enrolled on the final year of any postgraduate course at at the School of Design and Technology, London College of Fashion.

Closed for applications for 2018/19 academic year

The successful recipient will be announced on Monday, 13 May 2019. The successful scholar will be required to provide a report on the impact The Suling Mead Award has had on their work.

Receiving payment

The award is worth £5,000 and payment will be a cheque payment.
