PINKO Scholarship

The PINKO Scholarship of £9,000 is available to 1 Home student enrolled in the final year of studies on the BA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the PINKO Scholarship students must be:

  • considered a home student for tuition fee purposes and
  • enrolled on the final year of the full-time BA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London starting in September 2023.

The PINKO Scholarship will provide one final year BA Fashion student with £9,000 financial assistance to complete their degree. The scholarship aims to take a holistic approach through offering up to 100m of fabric from the PINKO archives and mentoring from Patrick McDowell. Sustainability and creativity in terms of potential will be assessed when selecting the scholarship recipient, ideas do not have to be fully formed but we are looking for applicants who push boundaries and think for the future. PINKO is committed to supporting those experiencing Financial hardship and encourage students to be as open as possible in their application to communicate their financial need.

The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit and will provide a contribution towards course costs and living expenses for the final year of the course.

Applicants must have an interest in sustainability to apply for the scholarship.

Applications are welcome from those who are in financial hardship and those who will benefit from undergraduate studies to realise their full potential.

The PINKO Scholarship opens for applications on Monday 25 September 2023.

Applications for this scholarship must be made by filling in an online application form. More information is provided in the guidance notes:

Closing Date: Friday 8 December 2023

The panel will be scheduled for February 2024. The date will be communicated to shortlisted students.

Receiving payment

The scholarship will provide a contribution towards course costs and living expenses.

Course costs and living expenses payments will be paid in termly instalments to the award recipient.
