About

Omorovicza Cosmetics has been supporting the BA Graphic Communication Design Course since 2017.

Omorovicza Cosmetics was founded by Stephen and Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza in Budapest and inspired by the curative culture of the Budapest. Stephen’s family built one of Budapest’s oldest thermal baths, the Racz Furdo. Built in the 1800s, on the site of an Ottoman bath, which itself is built on top of a mediaeval healing spring. The secret to the thermal waters’ healing properties lies in the unique geological features of the region – the Earth’s crust is thinner so waters absorb beneficial minerals more effectively as they journey to the surface. This inspiration brought about Omorovicza Cosmetics, where the company embarked on a quest to harness the curative power of the thermal baths through cosmetics.”
