Leathersellers' Progression Awards
To be eligible for the Leathersellers Progression Awards students must be:
- Ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) i.e. living in or predominantly tied to the UK and Islands (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for most of the 3 years before your course is due to start and
- Considered a Home student for tuition fee purposes and
- Currently enrolled on the first year of the BA (Hons) Cordwainers Fashion Bags and Accessories: Product Design and Innovation course at London College of Fashion and
- Progressing to the second year of the course in September 2021
The Leathersellers’ Company, was founded in the early and Middle Ages, responsible for the governance and quality control of its trade in the City of London and the education and training of craftsmen through the system of apprenticeships. This early involvement in education and training has continued to the present day.
Applications are strictly by nomination.
Applications for this scholarship are strictly by nominations by the Course Tutors.
The award will provide a contribution towards course costs and portfolio preparation toward placement opportunities in the second year of the course.
