Frank Bowling Scholarships
The Frank Bowling Scholarships of £11,920 each are available to 2 students accepted on the MA Fine Art course at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London.
To be eligible for The Frank Bowling Scholarship, students must be:
- Ordinarily resident in the UK or EU (living in or predominantly tied to) the UK or EU for most of the 3 years before your course is due to start)
- Accepted on the full-time MA Fine Art course at Chelsea College of Arts, commencing September 2019.
The scholarships were established by artist Frank Bowling OBE to support Fine Art postgraduate students at Chelsea College of Arts.
In addition to being an alumnus of Chelsea College of Arts, Frank is also a former staff member of Byam Shaw School of Art (now part of Central Saint Martins) and Camberwell College of Arts.
The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It will provide a contribution towards course tuition fees for the length of the course.
Applications for this scholarship must be made by filling in an online application form. More information is provided in the guidance notes:
Closing date: 1pm (UK time), Thursday 15 August 2019.
Panel interviews for shortlisted applicants will be scheduled for September 2019.
Tuition fees will be paid directly from the award into the University’s tuition fees account.
