The William Gross and Jennifer Stengaard Gross Scholarship by The VII Academy
Eligibility
To be eligible for The William Gross and Jennifer Stengaard Gross Scholarship by The VII Academy students must be:
- accepted on MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography (Part Time/ Online Mode) at London College of Communication, UAL, starting in October 2020
- an international student from a non G20 country. For clarity G20 countries are one of the following: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, European Union, United Kingdom and the United States.
About
The VII Academy, part of the the VII Foundation, offers a wide variety of dynamic and intensive educational experiences in different regions with a diverse group of photographers. These are offered completely free to selected applicants, all of whom come from the majority world.
The scholarships will be assessed on the basis of firstly, applicants ordinarily resident in a non G20 country, secondly, financial need, thirdly, academic merit and fourthly, on the applicant’s potential as a future educator and leader in their home countries / regions.
Applications are welcome from those who are in financial hardship and those who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential.

Receiving payment
The scholarship will provide a contribution of £11,460 annually towards your tuition fees.
Tuition fees will be paid directly from the award into the University’s Tuition Fees account.
