5 Reasons to Attend Creative Futures

UAL Creative Futures is happening next week (3-7 February 2020). The week-long programme is jam-packed with amazing events and opportunities to help you kick-start your career. Not booked your tickets yet? Here are 5 reasons why it’s not to be missed!

  1. Find a job at the Creative Opportunities Job Fair

The first ever Creative Opportunities Job Fair is happening on 5 February (12pm-4pm) at CSM. Employers are recruiting for a variety of roles including: admin, marketing, PR, junior creatives and digital. With brands such as Kurt Geiger, Richemont and Tong Digital all taking part, it’s well worth going along with copies of your CV.

  2. Benefit from one-to-one feedback on your CV and tailored career advice

There are a range of one-to-one session happening throughout the week. Get personalised feedback on your CV, attend a focused 30-minute career advice session or go to a graduate support one-to-one. We can even help you to make a good impression on your website or social media channels with a free professional headshot photo. One-to-one sessions can’t be booked in advance so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

  3. Get to hear from industry experts

We’ve partnered with leading creative organisations to bring you an inspiring programme of events. Catch speakers from Vodafone, D&AD, DACS, Den Creative and Google Digital Garage to name just a few! Learn from their insights and ask your burning questions during the Q&As.

  4. It could help you to get your creative business off the ground

Looking to start your own business or freelance practice? Get feedback on your business plan or idea with a 30-minute one-to-one business advice session. Come to our live pitching event and learn how to protect your intellectual property.

  5. It’s free!

Events and workshops are free to attend and open to students and graduates from all UAL Colleges. View the full programme and book your places.
