Coronavirus: Student resources available online
In order to ensure the safety of our students and staff, our buildings are now closed until further notice. No services will be available on site, however you can access various resources online, listed below. Thank you to all students for their patience during this difficult period. Academic Support Online features online learning materials, workshops and tutorials which can be accessed from home.
Cite Them Right Online is a comprehensive guide to referencing and citation and enables you to generate your own references.

Microsoft Teams and Office 365
Teams can be used for small-scale audio/video meetings and chat such as tutorials and group work. You can also send documents, create virtual groups and channels dedicated to specific topics/projects.
How to access Teams
Using your UAL email account, you can either access the browser version through the Office 365 suite or download to your phone/tablet by searching 'Teams' in the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android).

Other Office 365 apps
You can access the full suite of Office 365 online apps including Outlook email, OneDrive and SharePoint by logging with your usual UAL username and password.
As well as having online versions of the usual Microsoft programmes (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word), why not try out tools to help you with your work such as Planner and Stream.
You can get one-to-one advice from our careers and employability team every day 10am - 3pm through their online chat system. All UAL students and graduates can get help with job search strategies, reviewing CVs, identifying a career path and interview prep. Not available at those times? Health and Wellbeing
UAL Chaplaincy has shared some tips for staying mentally and physically well whilst isolating. They are also running free meditation sessions via Zoom each week. Visit artschaplaincy.net and check the schedule under 'THIS WEEK'.
If you need urgent mental health support, our Out of Hours page lists a variety of services which can be accessed 24/7. You should always dial 999 in an emergency requiring the police, ambulance service or fire brigade.
This list of gentle sitting exercises created by the NHS will help improve your mobility, and can be done at home.
The mental health charity Mind has created a list of things you can try if you're feeling anxious about Coronavirus, or you're self-isolating.
The Social Programme has created a list of helpful tips and contact numbers for all students self-isolating in UAL accommodation.
IT and Assistive Technology
Whether it’s the software on our computers or the free apps we recommend for your phones and tablets, there are many tools out there to help you with your learning. Visit our Assistive Technology page for tips and ideas.
Adobe has provided temporary at-home access for all students, so that they can continue to work remotely. These Creative Cloud desktop app licenses are currently valid until May 31 2020. Find out more
