Are you looking for ways to stay active?

We know how important it is to look after our minds and bodies, but ways of doing this have been limited in recent times. The Arts SU Active membership has been especially designed to give you access to a programme of affordable social and recreational activities, designed to help you meet fellow students, try new things, and look after your mental health. The weekly drop-in programme includes a variety of wellbeing activities, including Yoga, Boxing, Wellbeing Theatre, Creative Writing for Wellbeing and Dance.

Look after yourself online

All of the classes are held online, meaning they can be done wherever you are, and there’s no reason to feel shy about trying something new. You can try as many different classes as you wish as all the classes are commitment-free, which means it’s up to you whether you want to try something different each week, or become a regular at your favourite session. All activities are non-competitive and open to all UAL students – regardless of experience or ability.

A really flexible membership

Arts Active runs every week during term time (excluding Bank Holidays). A termly membership is £10, or £5 if you are already a member of a Sports Club or Society, and will give you access to all Arts Active activities during that term, at no extra cost.

Alternatively, you can use the pay-as-you-go system that allows you to pay for each session individually. Individual sessions cost between £1 and £3. Find out more about getting your membership on the Arts SU page. And stay up to date with what’s on offer via Instagram, or the official Arts Active Facebook page.
