We have created a COVID-19 Community Pledge - recognising the vital role we all play in keeping each other safe. We ask that all staff and students are familiar with and adhere to the pledge.

Find out more about the measures introduced to help keep you safe and support your learning.

Our COVID-19 Community Pledge

We understand that:

  • The university has measures in place to keep us safe.
  • We need to follow university and UK government guidance.
  • We take personal responsibility for our actions.
  • We have a social responsibility for our community.
  • Our pledge applies at home, at college, at work, out and about.
  • We can all help stop the spread of the virus at UAL.
  • Vaccinations are available for all students and staff through the NHS.

Wherever we are, we will protect ourselves and others by:

  • Washing our hands frequently.
  • Using sanitising resources.
  • Observing social distancing measures where it is sensible to do so.
  • Wearing a face covering if you can.
  • Regularly getting tested (ideally twice a week).
  • Always displaying our UAL ID card.
  • Staying home and getting tested via the NHS if we have symptoms.
  • Reporting if we test positive for the virus.
