For the first time, LCC’s Postgraduate Showcase will be a hybrid of online and physical activity.
Taking an online-first approach, the Postgraduate Showcase will utilise UAL’s Online Showcase platform.
In addition, the Showcase will offer a rich events programme, a limited onsite Physical Showcase offering and a Graduate Support programme.
This page provides information about the LCC Postgraduate Showcase 2021 for participating students.
All participating postgraduate students will be able to demonstrate different facets of their creative exploration and critical interrogation as well as final projects through exhibiting on UAL’s Online Showcase platform.
The platform has been very successful in showcasing graduating student work and engaging audiences globally with high engagement analytics and success stories.
As part of the online Showcase platform, Collections of outstanding works around different themes or groupings will be built to demonstrate the variety of work and highlight different achievements.
Course Teams and graduating cohorts will be guided through the process and supported by a Quality Assurance Team who will help to review work before it is uploaded to the platform.
Projects uploaded to the platform will be archived, ensuring students’ portfolios remain available online to our audiences for a period of time, including creative industry partners, potential employers and collaborators, as well as prospective students. Each individual student profile makes it easy to contact and engage with them.

This year, we are able to offer a limited Physical Showcase onsite in our gallery spaces. This will take the format of one show with a rolling programme of different moments of focus and activation.
Due to space constraints this year, we actively encourage cohorts to take a collective approach if intending to show work on-site, focusing on sharing individual projects online through the Postgraduate Showcase platform.
The Physical Showcase will be taking place onsite in LCC’s gallery spaces only, with the approach being led by ongoing Health and Safety considerations due to the pandemic.
This includes limiting surface area touch points, adopting a one-way system and maintaining social distancing.
Certain spaces will be designated for specific activities, including screening and workshop/interactive areas. Further information to follow shortly.
