Step Up: University is a project which aims to improve and support university student mental health. The project, which runs across the City of London, uses lived experiences to create and deliver workshops by students, for students.
The workshops look at how to support students’ mental health during times of transition. They cover topics from exam stress to LGBTQ+ mental health, to looking after your mental health as a student parent.
Step-Up: University is now looking to recruit new Champions to help develop and deliver workshops to support student mental wellbeing. Champions will be paid £50 per workshop.
As a Champion, you will also gain training and development opportunities, including career building and a range of e-learning courses, as well as skills that build resilience to cope with mental health difficulties.
If you are interested, you must be available to join an online engagement session on Tuesday 11 January, 4-7pm.
