UAL Research Online is a free online collection of the university’s research outputs, including PhD theses.
Libraries and Learning Zones
Library staff can help you find and use information effectively as well, as referring you to other libraries and sources of information. They can also ensure you benefit from our special collections and archives.
All the College libraries have areas for quiet study or group work.
There are three Learning Zones, located at CSM, LCC and Camberwell. These are informal learning spaces equipped with flexible furniture, digital workstations and print facilities.
You can search the holdings of all of our libraries using the library catalogue, and in addition, find articles, e-journals and databases. Library staff can advise on supplying material through inter-library loans, or by directing to you to specialist collections outside of UAL.
Archives and Special Collections
The libraries hold special collections and archives that can inspire and inform your research. These are located in the University Archives and Special Collections Centre at the London College of Communication, as well as in the college libraries. You can also access collections that are in the colleges, LCF Archive, and the CSM Museum and Study Collection.
