Vaccinations are now available in the UK for adults and children aged 5 years or older. UAL encourages all our staff and students to be vaccinated. Vaccinations are being offered free of charge at local sites run by GPs, community pharmacies, larger vaccination centres, walk-in sites and in some hospitals.

Booster vaccinations are also available for everyone over the age of 16.

All students, regardless of their nationality or immigration status, are eligible to be vaccinated.

There are several ways to book your vaccines.

For adults and young people (aged 5 years old and over)

If you are registered with a GP in the UK, you can:

  • Book your appointments on the National Booking Service website, at a location which is convenient to you.
  • Wait to receive an invitation from your GP via text or email
  • Contact 119 to book over the phone
  • Find a walk-in vaccination site and receive your vaccine. You do not require an appointment at walk-in sites.

Booster vaccinations

Booster vaccinations are now available for people aged 16 years old and over.

A few things to remember:

  • Anyone aged 5 and over is entitled to the COVID-19 vaccination, regardless of nationality or immigration status.
  • The vaccination is free.
