Important documents for Erasmus traineeships
You must check with your College and follow all guidance and processes in place during and after traineeships.
Most rules and advice for traineeships in the UK will apply also to traineeships abroad. For Erasmus Traineeships, there are four important types of document that you need to complete: a Certificate of Arrival, a Traineeship Certificate, the compulsory survey required by the European Commission, and two grant receipts.
Certificate of Arrival
When you arrive at your host institution, please ask your line manager to sign your Certificate of Arrival and send it to the UAL Mobility Manager at the International Relations Unit at email@example.com. It should be sent within two weeks of your arrival.
Before coming home, you must ask your line manager to sign your Traineeship Certificate to verify that you have successfully completed the exchange. You should email the Certificate to the UAL Mobility Manager at the International Relations Unit at firstname.lastname@example.org within two weeks of your departure.
Compulsory online EU Survey
The participant shall complete and submit the online EU Survey within 30 days from the end date of the mobility period. You will receive the link to the survey by email at the end of your mobility period abroad.
This survey is a requirement of the European Commission. Please note that the second instalment of your grant will be held back until all forms are returned and the survey has been completed.
The survey should be completed within 30 days from the end date of the mobility period at your host institution.
The participant needs to submit two grant receipts to confirm reception of each instalment of the grant. The receipt is an online form which simply confirms the amount of money received, as well as the date the grant was received.
