New Ways of Seeing Fashion: The Fashion GIF.

This project aims to examine a contemporary form of digital fashion media - the fashion gif - that is solely available to view online and through a screened device.

This project aims to analyse the fashion GIF through an interrogation of the production, representation and consumption of the image and the practices that may be involved in each of these areas. By doing so, this project aims to question how fashion is being mediated online to gain a better understanding of digital fashion media and digital culture at large.
