Kevin Freeman is a graduate of Wimbledon’s Theatre Design course and has his own design studio in Brighton.
His portfolio, whilst incorporating design for opera, dance and theatre, has mainly focussed on bespoke, character based couture with work featuring elaborate draping, extravagant volume and lavish beadwork.
There is a unique, avant-garde design element and focus on excellence in finish to his work that has resulted in him producing gowns for celebrity clients, high profile events and replica gowns for museums worldwide.
His label Renaissance Couture, continues to produce experimental pieces for clients all over the world. He also collaborates with a diverse range of creative teams to provide imagery for editorial in magazines such as Vogue Italia and Slave.
Recently, his work has focussed primarily on education and research around his subject area.
