Claudine was one of a team of eight people who worked for over 200 hours to create the jersey which was finished inside the Lee Valley Park Velodrome minutes after Sir Bradley broke the record with a distance of 54.526km.  Claudine made the jersey’s pattern before sending them off to royally appointed embroiderers Hand & Lock who stitched on the Team Sky and Rapha logos along with Wiggins’ name across the back. Rapha’s seamstresses Sharon Stokes and Carla Rees then tailored the jersey to Wiggins’ body shape before taking it to the Veldrome for the final touches on Sunday where Sharon, a renowned couturier, and Rapha Product Development Manager Jennifer Choi sewed on the numbers as soon as the final time was confirmed.

Sir Bradley is known as one of the most stylish men in sport and Claudine and the Rapha team made a commemorative jersey befitting of his style and his amazing achievement.

Well done Team Rapha and well done Wiggo!
