This course was designed for assistant buyers and product developers who need to appraise sample garments sent from the factories, where the fit is poor or unacceptable.
It will support them in understanding general construction of a garment and terminology relating to fit, the possible ways of implementing improvements and communicating these to the factories, and investigating common methods (from a fit and pattern perspective) of developing a garment within a cost price whilst still maintaining fit, function and aesthetics.
"I have really good knowledge of garments, stitching and fitting now."
"Liked the part where we were able to fit ourselves and seeing the stitches on fabrics."
"This was a very informative course."
"Day was tailored to our specific needs and questions."
