Dr Raluca Moise is the Acting Course Leader of BA (Hons) Public Relations and lecturer in the Communications and Media Programme.
Her previous experience in teaching in academic setting, researching social sciences related topics and managing a PR department is crucial to her approach in teaching students to become ethical, creative and critical future PR professionals.
Her recent research focuses on the link between PR professional aggregates (communities, networks etc) and creativity and innovation. She also focuses on critical aspects of the professional field, such as ethics and inclusivity.
Previously, Raluca published a monography about SMS cultural practices in youth culture, followed by scientific articles on the social role of Public Relations.
In her class, students will learn how broader theoretical perspectives from media, sociology and cultural studies interact and influence Public Relations as a practice and a professional field.
Her teaching stems from three main fields: media, social theories and cultural studies, with a constant focus on non-Western case studies and examples.
Prior to joining LCC, Raluca has worked as PR lecturer at University of Bucharest and held the position of associate researcher at CEREFREA. She also worked in advertising, at McCann Erikson Romania and in digital publishing.
